THIS IS A DIGITAL DOWNLOAD OF THE INSTRUCTIONS TO MAKE THE PICTURED GARMENT. THIS IS NOT A FINISHED GARMENT. THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE ANY YARN.
Once upon a time, I ran a Local Yarn Store. When a customer was working on the Karin Lace Shawl by Evelyn Clark, I immediately envisioned a mashup between the darling heart lace pattern in that shawl and Elizabeth Zimmerman’s February Baby Sweater — how apropos that Valentine’s Day falls in February!
The original release of this pattern was a much simpler, one-size-fits-most sweater, much like Zimmerman’s work of genius. This update includes five sizing options for infants to 24 mos, as well as instructions for a sleeveless version for summer babes. I hope it brings tremendous love and joy to those who knit and receive it.
