Pattern Notes:
This pattern was designed out of a desire to create a simple and stylish slouch hat that works on a variety of DK weight yarns, and inspired by a photo of a supermodel wearing the simplest, effortlessly cool hat. Whether you have a highly variegated skein, or solid yarn, the simple texture adds some interest, while keeping the hat versatile and wearable. A DK weight hat is my favorite, because it is not so heavy that you cannot wear it in transitional weather, but it is still toasty if you work it in a great wool. It is also the perfect weight to throw on without messing up your hair too much! You’ll find this hat is perfect for using up those single skeins of DK weight, and great for gifting, too, because of it’s unisex appeal.
