Small size (shown in pictures) uses approximately 1.75 oz of variegated yarn and 2.5 oz of semi solid yarn
Large size uses approximately 2.2 oz of variegated yarn and 3.1 oz of semi solid yarn
Either size should be able to be made out of 2 x 3.5 oz (100 g) balls of sock yarn as long as they have 400 yds or more
